Hotel Grand Powers
Set on a bustling street amid shops and restaurants, this elegant hotel dating from 1920 is a 10-minute walk from cultural exhibitions at the ornate Grand Palais. It’s a 5-minute walk from George V metro station and 2 km from the iconic Eiffel Tower.
I stayed there with my son this past July. Loved it!
We had a junior suite on the 5th floor and took our breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the beautiful Parisian buildings across the street and, yes, the Eiffel Tower herself in the back!!
The hotel is at a walkable distance of many iconic spots: the Champs-Elysees, The Arc de Triomphe, The Louvre, The Musee d’Orsay, The Jardin des Tuileries, …
There are some great restaurants in the neighborhood. One of my favorites: Chez Andre.
